So it has been a few weeks since I finished my undergraduate degree and I’m going to start actively pushing myself to learn and create in the next year. I want to further my knowledge of 3D design and software in the coming year. I want to post to my tumblr as a way of staying accountable for my workload.
What I Know
1. Beginner-Intermediate knowledge of Maya 2. Principals of 3D modelling and texturing 3. Principals of Rapid Prototyping and using 3D printers 4. Beginner-Intermediate knowledge of Mudbox
What my goals are
1. Learn 3DS Max 2. Get experience in zBrush 3. Learn how 3D assets are included in game engines 4. Learn some basic programming 5. Create a professional portfolio 6. Create a new series of work for my art practice using 3D design 7. Don’t quit
That’s a lot to do there but hopefully I can stay committed. My pipedream is to create a simple iOS/Android game by the end of the year.
